Temple Avenue
Temple Avenue is a tight, exciting jazz quartet that combines young energy and creativity with respect for the music's traditions. The group features three Temple University students:

Saxophonist - Seth Ebersole of Mohnton
Bassist - Jack Synoski of Hazleton
Drummer - Austin Wagner of Manheim Township Pianist - Colin Mekeel, a Manheim Township student and two-time District Jazz Band participant.

Temple Avenue draws its repertoire from the compositions of jazz's finest composers, such as Miles Davis and Clifford Brown, and from the vast library of jazz standards.

Arts Appreciation
Sunday, May 20th

As you enter the Foyer or Shirk Hall, you will note displays of a variety of artistic expressions created by our own members.

Arts Appreciation Sunday
We will also have the privilege of a variety artistic presentations guiding our worship at 9:00 and 10:30. All of our choirs will be participating as we honor the contribution that music and the arts makes in our worship services.  more >>>  
Services Honoring the Retirement of Randy Riggs
Pastor Randy Riggs

Pastor Riggs will be retiring in the summer of 2012 after 16 years of serving FPC. Several events are being held in his honor, and you are cordially invited to attend any or all of them:



Saturday, June 9th
  • 3:00pm
    A Service Honoring Pastor Riggs

    We will gather in the Sanctuary of FPC to honor our Pastor. He will not conduct this service; he will be in the congregation.

    4:30pm
    Ice Cream Social
    Immediately following the service, come to Shirk Hall for a scoop of Randy's favorite dish, and an opportunity to socialize.
Sunday, June 10th
  • 10:00am
    Randy's last preaching Sunday. There will be one combined worship service at 10:00am
